Candle Care

To ensure your candle's longevity and safety, here are some candle care tips and best practices.

  • Keep the wick centered and trimmed to ¼" at all times.
  • Burn candle within sight at all times
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
  • Remove all packaging before burning.
  • Place on a temperature-safe surface to avoid heat damage
  • Keep away from drafts.
  • For maximum performance, allow your candle to achieve a complete melt pool, meaning the wax pool reaches all the way (or close) to the edges of the candle container. If you don't, your candle may form what is known as a memory ring of where your first burn wax pool formed, and it will tunnel in subsequent burns.
  • Keep the wax pool free of debris.
  • Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Discontinue use when ¼" of wax remains
  • Do not use water or any other liquid to extinguish your candle.
